No post titles for me. Still.

My birthday was a little bit fabulous. I had stayed over in Provo with Chelsea on Friday night, so she and my family (and the boy) surprised me for breakfast at Magleby's. It was delicious, the presents were great, and being with my family was fun.

Then, it was homework time. After driving around Provo/Orem for a bit and getting gas, I finally arrived home around 1:00. I immediately hit up transcribing and scoring a standardized test I had given to one of my clients on Friday. After I finished getting those results, I started transcribing my other client's session to look for articulation error patterns in her voice. An hour or so later, I decided it was time for a nap. A very long one.

I finally woke up and decided to get ready for my birthday date with the boy. We went to a delicious Japanese/Sushi bar in Sandy, made mini s'mores (thanks Elizabeth for that idea!), and watched Inception (he had never seen it!). It was very lowkey, very fun, and very perfect.

Turning 23 wasn't so bad. Although I am nowhere near where I thought I would be, I'm still happy and I'm getting there.

That sounds like fun! Sometimes laid-back birthdays are exactly what you need. :)
