Utah Jazz, March Madness, and Peter B...all rolled into two weeks!

Tomorrow night I have the opportunity to go to my first Jazz game of the 2008-2009 season...and I am so stoked! The last game I went to was Game 7 against Golden State two years ago with double overtime...man, was that a night to remember! The Jazz are playing the Houston Rockets, which should make for an interesting game (especially because Yao Ming is so stinkin' huge he can barely get his body to start running.) I decided Yao should just stay at the Houston defensive end of the court and wait for the ball to come his way so he can stick his hand up in the air to block it...that's pretty much what he does anyway.

I have to admit, college basketball isn't my thing. I know who the "good" teams are for the season and I know what the stats mean, but I don't watch any games or check up on certain teams, not even BYU. Despite my lack of caring for college basketball, I am in first place in a pool of nine people (eight guys and me) according to espn.com. All of my teams made it to the Sweet Sixteen! I'm thinking that if I do end up being the winner of our pool, each guy should take me out on separate dates...I deserve it, don't I?

Finally (and this is the best news of all), Peter Breinholt is finally doing another concert! It's a benefit concert for another local artist, Paul Cardall, who is having heart surgery. Performing alongside Peter B. is Ryan Shupe and the RubberBand and Kurt Bestor. Tickets are only $12!!! That's $4/artist! It's totally worth it. Check out the websites livingforeden.com or peterbreinholt.com to buy tickets, donate, and relish in the beauty that is Peter B.

Paul Cardall's uncle was in the bishopric with Randy. He has explained Paul's condition. He REALLY needs our help. I'm glad you are going!
