Today is officially 31 days since school started this semester and I'm still alive! This is BIG news. Let me give you a run down of what a typical day is like in the life of a University of Utah Masters of Speech-Language Pathology student.
6:00 a.m. Wake up (finish whatever I need to finish that day, get ready, blah blah blah)
7:30 a.m. Drive to class
9:00 a.m. Class
Noon Start doing something clinic-related (clients, planning, supervisory meetings, more planning)
5:00 p.m. Head home
6:00 p.m. Fall asleep (totally on accident of course)
6:30 p.m. Homework (planning clinic, doing paperwork for clinic--it is estimated that for every client there are about 52 forms, yes per client, readings, class projects, reviewing to administer standardized tests, reviewing for real class tests, planning more clinic)
Midnight Shower
*Eating and sleeping are last on the totem pole
**Order of events not typical to every day, but hours spent per event is representative
Welcome to my world. What is your typical day like?
