Pretty sure I'm done with finals.
Pretty sure I'm done with my first semester of grad school.
Pretty sure it feels good.
Nay, pretty sure it feels great.

Thanksgiving is here. What does that mean for me?
No classes, clients, tests, quizzes, or note-taking for five days. No getting up early to catch the train. No standing out in the arctic wind waiting for the bus. No school-related activities. Period.
Unless you count the paper that is due on Monday at 8 a.m. Or the presentation that is due on Tuesday.
Thanksgiving also means being lonely for five days while the boy is at a family reunion.

i think i've gone cross-eyed
#1: I changed accounts for this blog. If you read my blog and I want to follow your blog but it's private, add katrina.irving22@gmail.com to your reading list. Please and thank you.
#2: My most recent Facebook status update ("Please, no more music on blogs.") is not directed at anyone specific. Please do not take offense at this status and please still be my friend.
#3: I just spent upwards of 30 hours on one assignment that's worth 30 points and had no instructions or directions as to what is expected. Yes, grad school is awesome.
#4: I am finally working with my very own client one-on-one at the speech-language clinic at the U.
#5: Finding an apartment to live in is hard. Renter's insurance, minimum monthly income, guarantors, etc. Who knew I had it so easy in Provo when all I had to do was initial in three or four spots, sign my full name and date it, pay a simple deposit, and the apartment was mine?
#6: I still like the boy.
#7: I still don't have a way to title these things. Perhaps mine were too witty for Blogger to handle anymore.
#8: I am poor.
#9: I have recently discovered a love for sushi. Yes, real sushi. Okay, really only the salmon kind, but that's a start!
#10: I've been looking at this computer screen for 6 hours now. I think I need to take out my contacts, stand in a steaming hot shower, and go to bed.
#11: I miss Provo.
#12: I miss my friends.
#13: Life is still good, despite the fact I am living at home frantically looking for a place to live, am poor, have been looking at this thing for 6 hours, am an hour away from the boy, miss Provo, and miss my friends. Life is always good in some aspect.
#14: I'm still an aunt. This is really, really good news.
#15: I think I am going to Cali over Christmas break. And that makes me happy.
#16: Only four more weeks of school! (Okay, four and a half, but who's counting?)
#17: I miss lipgloss but have fallen in love with chapstick.
#18: I asked for an elliptical for Christmas. I don't think I'm going to get it.
#19: I want pudding.
#20: I am done now. Thanks for reading and props if you actually made it through this post.
Peace and blessings.
